When you use QuoteMyText, we collect the following types of information:
Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number, business name, and trade type when you sign up for an account.
Customer Data: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of your customers that you provide for quote delivery and follow-up communications.
Service Data: Job descriptions, pricing details, and quote content that you submit through SMS or the platform.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service, including quotes sent, follow-ups delivered, and response rates.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve QuoteMyText. Specifically, we use your data to generate AI-powered quotes based on your input, send SMS and email messages to your customers on your behalf, schedule and deliver automated follow-up sequences, provide analytics and reporting on your quote performance, and communicate with you about your account and our services.
QuoteMyText uses the following third-party services to deliver our product:
OpenAI: We send job descriptions and service details to OpenAI's API to generate quote content. OpenAI processes this data per their data usage policy and does not use it to train their models when accessed via API.
SMS Provider (MessageBird/Twilio): Customer phone numbers and message content are shared with our SMS provider to deliver text messages.
Email Provider (Mailgun/SendGrid): Customer email addresses and message content are shared with our email provider to deliver emails.
We do not sell your data to any third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 and TLS 1.3). Data is stored on US-based servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
All SMS messages sent through QuoteMyText are sent with the prior express consent of the recipient, as provided by you (the account holder). You represent and warrant that you have obtained appropriate consent from your customers before using QuoteMyText to send them messages. Recipients may opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we retain your data for 90 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of QuoteMyText after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
